Notion AI: Something to Be Afraid of or Accepting?

This Thursday, Notion's co-founder and CEO; Ivan Zhao, had announced via a press release the private alpha testing group for Notion AI. In the press release, he wrote a little glimpse of insight about where Notion gets inspiration. Zhao stated Notion HQ has a portrait of Doug Engelbart The reason, Zhao states, is because "he wrote about his vision for computers in his paper 'Augmenting Human Intellect: A Conceptual Framework' — they could be machines that had the power to help us solve problems, instead of being room-sized calculators and typewriters." Zhao also further went on to explain that Engelbart was a large part of the inspiration for him to found Notion. Notion, the productivity software company pioneering a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) experience was valued at $10BN last summer. Zhao also stated that Notion's mission is to "make software tool-making ubiquitous."
